While Kurt has no objection being with the Hellfire Club and enjoying his stay there, his team member Pietro has a lot of issues, foremost it's the trust in other people that keep Pietro on his toes and always moving. Kurt, though a team member of Pietro is also not one Pietro does trust and yet, Kurt tries his utmost to convince Pietro that he shouldn't worry too much. However, they have something in common: their care for Wanda's wellbeing and the doubt about forming an alliance with Hydra.

Members of the Brotherhood and the X-Men find themselves unexpectingly team up in order to bring a halt to Ultron's minions, holding both mutants and humans alike hostage within a brewery. Without trust between the two groups they successfully rescue those who are held prisoners, only to end up saving themselves.

Kurt is much too worried and way to curious about Rogue's wellbeing and whereabouts as that he could not try to reach her and see if all his worries were mere delusions. But he won't travel alone: After having asked Mystique to back him up within the Brotherhood if they should notice his absence, Mystique was adamant about coming with him. But why? They soon will all know why.

Mystique wants to find Pryo and Kurt wants to find answers... What better chance to accompany the one person who caused him that much questions and help her in the quest to find a lost Brotherhood member? But of course, there is also Kurt's bad conscience that makes him follow Mystique out to the streets after they have been just attacked by someone or better by something. Perhaps he finally gets answers instead of new questions. And there is a small item that makes it easier for him to move in public without being discovered and debunked as mutant.

It was a struggle for him to get ready for the Hellfire Club but he has managed to arrive there, though a bit late. But better late than never, eh? Anyway, if he has thought there will be no trouble to enter the party than Kurt has forgotten about his own confused and nervous nature. Right before he was about to be thrown on the streets again by the security, he has find the card that gave him permission. Yet, where he landed then was a mystery even to him. Will he be able to enjoy himself at the party?

He tried. He truly tried to lure his students' attention away from the snow that was falling outside back to him and the German language - only to be defeated in the end. Kurt gave in and dismissed his ungrateful students and found another teacher wo was dumped by his students. Piotr and Kurt never had the opportunity to exchange words but now it seems they're having luck - thanks to the white glimmering substance that covered the ground and announced winter's coming.

Kurt reminded some of his students of their obligation as students and sent them back to their classes. And actual, he wanted to enjoy his well-deserved break with a warm cup of coffee but his plans were interrupted by a young girl that appeared in the hallway of the mansion. Andrea Margulies wishes to be registered as new student at the school and Kurt will do what's needed to help her getting started.

Why could he never talk to God without being interrupted? This time it was Mystique who dared to set foot at the grounds of the X-Men mansion but not without any reason. She was there to convince Kurt to join the Brotherhood to fight those who opposed mutants. Kurt, the religious and loving mutant, tried to reason with her and make her see where it will lead in the end. So far, he had no luck unlike Mystique.

After having taken a break from the dangerous and stressful life of the X-Men and rather enjoying the peacefulness of a German monastery, Kurt had started to question his former decision to abandon his friends. The feeling of having been illoyal and a coward grew stronger in his chest so that he finally bid the monastery farewell and caught the sight of the School for gifted Youngsters again. There he learns from Kitty, who had started as student and had transformed into a good friend of Kurt, that many a thing has changed.

He was only doing some procurements because he was hungry and what followed? A crowd of people that behaved as if they had been come from another century and it's not meaning the future! But the blue mutant had some luck this day! He met a friend - or to say it otherwise: The friend has saved him befor he could be burnt at the stake. Kurt hadn't hoped to see Rogue so soon again but he was happy and they've made it to a sanctuary that was Rogue's current home. Rogue left only one impression on Kurt: She is keeping a secret.
