All Scott wanted to do was grab a bite to. So, he took his motorcycle out to New York City, cruising through the streets as he tried to think of what he wanted to eat. He weighed his options, wondering if he wanted to do Chinese, Thai, and the like, or go with an old fashion pair of pizza slices with a drink. Eventually, the latter won out – mostly because his stomach was getting restless and a pizza spot was coming up. He slowed his bike down as he pulled off to the side. As he cut the bike off, he kicked down the kickstand and allowed it to lean off to the right as he dismounted the bike.
“Okay, time to eat,” Scott said as he grabbed the bottom of his helmet. Before he could remove it though, a black SUV zoomed past him, followed by a group of NYPD squad cars with sirens blaring. As he turned his head towards the chase, he heard the sound of guns firing. “Or not.” He turned around and remounted his bike. After kicking up the kickstand and tossing his helmet into the nearest trash bin with hopes of returning to it afterwards, he started up the bike and rode after them.
Scott wasn’t only one who saw the chase, however. Swinging overhead was none other than Spider-Man. As he moved between the buildings, Spider-Man changed his route, trying his best to find an angle to attack the vehicle.
“All I need is one…” he began, whispering to himself. However, he trailed off when he saw a motorcycle drive by the cars and move up behind the SUV. “What the heck is going on?” As if to answer the question, the cyclist lifted up his glasses and let loose a red beam towards one of the back tires. After one of the back tires were destroyed, the SUV skidded as it spun out.
“That’ll work,” Spider-Man said as he went into a dive before he landed on the side of a building, close enough to strike as he watched the SUV. During this, Cyclops drove past the SUV before bringing the motorcycle to skidding halt.
