AVENGERS PLOT PAGE Alright so I figured I would put this up so that those part of the Avengers group can store and keep plot ideas. If you have an idea for the Avengers or your character and you wanna just keep it somewhere for future reference toss it here. Whether it is a chat conversation or something written down. This way we can all be on the same page with ideas and have a way to work them out as a group even if we aren't on at the same time. AVENGERS INITIATIVE CHARTER The Avengers Charter THE AVENGERS INITIATIVE BE IT KNOWN That we, the Avengers, have banded together to protect and safeguard the planet Earth, its inhabitants and resources, from any and all threats, terrestrial or otherwise, which might prove to be beyond the power of conventional forces to handle. That we shall tolerate no interference in the growth of humanity in meeting its rightful destiny. That we dedicate ourselves to the establishment, growth, and preservation of peace, liberty, equality, and justice under law. This is our solemn oath. ARTICLE ONE: ORGANIZATION The Avengers are hereby chartered as a peace-keeping force answerable only to the World Security Council. Headquarters shall be in New York City and there shall be established facilities for the use of Avengers in the current eleven member nations of the World Security Council. ARTICLE TWO: JURISDICTION The Avengers, as a group, are empowered to act as an agency of enforcement on duly recognized and approved missions in all lands, territories and protectorates of member states of the United Nations, providing that the threat in question is super-powered, extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, sub-terranean, sub-oceanic, or occult, and engaged in an invasion, infestation, limited incursion, piracy, enchantment or any flagrant violation of international law not instigated, sanctioned, or abetted by a member nation. ARTICLE THREE: FUNDING Major funding for the major operations of the Avengers - for upkeep of the New York headquarters, transportation, and equipment shall be provided by a grant from the Maria Stark Foundation - Anthony Stark, Director - with the understanding that the Foundation shall have no say in Avengers operations, policy, membership or the deployment of funds within the Avengers organization. ARTICLE FOUR: OPERATIONS The day-to-day operations of the Avengers shall be governed by a set of by-laws as put forth by the founding members: IN WITNESS of this charter, we founding members have hereunto subscribed our names. Iron Man - Thor - Hulk - Captain America - Black Widow - Hawkeye thanks brooklyn from caution and atf! Also, the Avengers are the original six that were shown in the movie. Any character that was an Avenger in the comics is NOT an automatic Avenger in BIH, as we are going with the movie and the original six. They could, however, be recruited In Game during threads and plots and become Secret Avengers. This applies for both canon and original characters that could be added to the Avengers Initiative as Recruits. It was established that in essence there would be two Avenger teams: The Official one, with Thor, Clint, Tony and Bruce and then the ‘Secret’ one with those four plus Natasha and Steve. This secret section would be planning and executing operations against HYDRA, all the while the Official Avengers would remain playing the game of following S.H.I.E.L.D. orders. It was also established that they will start to recruit new avengers, but that these ‘recruits’ would not be sanctioned by HYDRAS.H.I.E.L.D. In essence, the Recruits will be part of the Secret Avengers, under the leadership of Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers and work as a Covert Operation group while the Official Avengers would continue to pretend to follow S.H.I.E.L.D. directives. The induction of the Recruits as Secret Avengers would be, of course, a secret because the Avengers still function under SHIELD and although they know SHIELD has been utterly infiltrated, they are pretending to play along, but in hiding, they are planning a counterstrike and there is where the Avengers Recruits come in.
