TIMELINE

Following is a timeline of the events considered canonical to the site to include the following movieverse related events: X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Avengers Assemble, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

• Year: 2987 BC

The Convergence occurs, and the Dark Elves, led by their leader, Malekith, aim to cast the Nine Realms into darkness, utilizing the power of the Aether, one of the six Infinity Stones, namely the Power Stone. Their attempts are foiled by the Asgardian army, led by their leader, Bor, whose combined efforts manage to seize the Aether. In a last ditch attempt, Malekith sacrifices a majority of his people in an effort to kill the Asgardian soldiers, before putting himself in stasis for a millennia. Afterwards, Bor commands that the Aether be hidden so that no one could utilize its power again.

Presumably the year that Thor Odinson was born.

• Year: 965 AD

Presumably the year that Loki Laufeyson was born.

January, 14th

The Battle of Tønsberg takes place in Norway, launched by the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, under the leadership of their king, Laufey. After learning of the attack, the Asgardians prepare a counterattack, and are assembled under Odin.

August, 3rd

The Asgardians manage to beat the Jotuns back into their home world of Jotunheim, where they meet with defeat. Odin claims the Casket of Ancient Winters, befoe discovering an abandoned Frost Giant infant in the aftermath of the Battle of Jotunheim. He adopts the child, naming him Loki, and brings him to Asgard to be raised alongside Thor, his natural son. Odin and Laufey negotiate a truce.

June, 30th
In Asgard, Odin tells his sons, Thor and Loki, of the war with Jotunheim, and how both boys were born into kingship.

• Year: 1409 AD

January, 21st
Odin hides the Tesseract in Tønsberg, Norway.

• Year: 1832

James Howlett is born.

• Year: 1859

Charles Darwin publishes his 'On the Origin of Species', introducing the concept of genetic evolution, and how certain species develop over time to adapt to their environment.

• Year: 1861 - 1865

The American Civil War erupts.

• Year: 1866

Gregor Johann Mendel establishes the theory of hereditary traits through his work with pea plants.

• Year: 1869

Johann Friedrich Miescher extracts what becomes known as DNA from the nuclei of white blood cells.

• Year: 1900

Hugo de Vries, Erich von Tschermak and Carl Correns independently rediscover and verify Mendel's theories, marking the beginning of modern genetics.

Wilhelm Johannssen, a Danish botanist, invents the term 'gene' to describe the biological unit of heredity.

James Morita is born.

Steve Rogers speaks with his ill mother in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, about his deceased father. Sarah Rogers dies that day of tuberculosis, and Rogers is sent to an Eight Avenue Orphanage.

Hermann J. Muller demonstrates that radiation can induce artificial mutations.

Erik Lehnsherr is born.

January, 10th
Abraham Erskine begins his development of the Super Soldier Serum in a German University.

Johann Schmidt begins his search for the Tesseract.

February, 2nd
Johann Schmidt meets with Adolf Hitler and Ernst Kaufmann, head of the Special Weapon Division, at Duetsches Opernhaus in Berlin after a Wagner Opera. Schmidt theorizes that the Asgardians and their magic may be more reality than mythological, and as Hitler shows an interest in his ideas, Schmidt offers to conduct research at Kaufmann's unit. However, his attempts are rejected, but Heinrich Himmler overhears this exchange, and takes Schmidt under his wing instead.

May, 5th
Abraham Erskine and Howard Stark meet at an Engineering Convention in Geneva, Switzerland.

June, 30th
Johann Schmidt kills Ernst Kaufmann at the Schutzstaffel's Night of the Long Knives, and seizes control of his weapons program.

July, 1st
Johann Schmidt and a collective of SS troops attack an SA Weapons Testing Ground at Kummersdorf, and there they recruit Arnim Zola, an advanced exo-skeleton battle armour researcher.

• Year: 1935

September, 14th
Abraham Erskine and his family attempt to flee Germany after rumours start to circulate that Hitler intends to introduce anti-Semitic laws across the country. However, they are stopped at the border between Switzerland and Germany by Johann Schmidt, in search of the Super Soldier Serum. To ensure his cooperation, Schmidt has Erskine's wife and children sent to the Dachau Concentration Camp.

September, 15th
Arnim Zola continues to work on exo-skeleton battle suits and high tech weaponry.

April, 26th
HYDRA begins testing prototype tanks and exo-skeleton battle suits. The Luftwaffe were believed to be responsible for the destruction that occurred as a result, when it was in fact HYDRA.

December, 12th
Abraham Erskine's kidnapped family die of typhus in the Dachau Concentration Camp.

World War II begins.

September, 30th
Howard Stark launches Stark Industries

• Year: 1940

February, 2nd
Howard Stark demonstrates the properties of Vibranium, but after being attacked by HYDRA assassins, Stark joins the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) with Colonel Chester Phillips.

November, 11th
At Castle Kaufmann in the Bavarian Alps, Abraham Erskine injects Johann Schmidt with the Super Soldier Serum, only to cause a mutation in Schmidt, transforming him into the Red Skull. Erskine is rescued by Peggy Carter, and recruited to the SSR to help in producing America's Super Soldier with Howard Stark in Project Rebirth.

The term 'genetic engineering' is first penned by Danish microbiologist, A. Jost.

December, 7th
America enters World War II. During an arts class in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes learn that America has joined the war. Over the next two weeks, Bucky trains at Goldie's Boxing Gym.

December, 9th
Stark Industries starts producing planes for war following the attack on Pearl Harbour.

December, 11th
Howard Stark's creations lead to him obtaining a spot working on the Manhattan Project.

December, 24th
Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes visit the US Recruiting and Induction Centre in New York City, where Barnes is enrolled, but Rogers' fails and is rejected from service. He is later rejected a further four times in four different cities on account of poor health.

December, 25th
The SSR team in Brooklyn complete the Project Rebirth Chamber, and Howard Stark proposes a renaming in response to Robert Oppenheimer's work in Los Alamos, thus it is called the Brooklyn Project.

December, 26th
At Camp Lehigh in New Jersey, Abraham Erskine rejects Colonel Phillips proposed candidates for Project Rebirth.

• Year: 1942 -1945

The events of Captain America: The First Avenger take place, while Oswald Avery, Colin MacLeod and Maclyn McCarty show that DNA can transform the properties of cells, thus clarifying the chemical nature of genes. It is during this time that Erik Lehnsherr is imprisoned in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, where his abilities manifest at seeing his parents led to the gas chambers.

May, 19th
The United States begins Operation Overcast in an effort to recruit former Nazi scientists, with Arnim Zola being among the recruited scientists. The project is later renamed Operation Paperclip.

September, 2nd
Japan surrenders to the Allied Forces, which sees the end of World War II.

Erik Lehnsherr arrives in the United States, where he sees the Statue of Liberty for the first time.

Anton Vanko is accused of espionage and deported as a spy. Stark Industries reverts back into weapons development at the behest of Obadiah Stane.

Anton Vanko returns to the Soviet Union, where he lives in Siberia in exile for two decades.

Arnim Zola dies, but his consciousness is uploaded to an advanced supercomputer, which is kept in a S.H.I.E.L.D bunker in Camp Lehigh in New Jersey.

The first genetically modified organism is created; a simple bacterium.

September, 15th
Howard Stark films the intro for the 1974 Stark World Exposition, in which he tells his son, Tony, of his love and belief in him, hiding within the model a subtle hint to unlocking a 'new element', something that derives its power from the Tesseract: the key to unlimited sustainable energy.

Tony Stark builds his first Circuit Board.

Jean Grey befriends Annie Malcolm, but in a game of Frisbee, Annie is involved in a car accident. This event causes Jean's powers to manifest, as she connects with Annie's dying consciousness while the young girl passes away.

Tony Stark builds his first engine.

July, 1st
Elizabeth 'Betty' Ross is born to Thaddeus Ross.

Sam Wilson is born.

September, 24th
Howard Stark unveils his building attempts in Arc Reactor technology, and although it is technologically successful, no attempts are made to explore its profitability.

June, 16th
Tony Stark graduates Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the top of his class.

Robert Coulson dies.

• Year: 1985

Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr visit Jean Grey, and enrol her in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Shortly afterwards, Erik Lehnsherr resigns from his position at the school. Unable to accept the possibility of a future where mutants and humans can coexist peacefully, he sets about establishing the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Piotr Rasputin is born, while the Chernobyl disaster results in many infants being born with mutations.

June, 13th
Darcy Lewis is born.

July, 15th
Jane Foster is born

• Year: 1990

James Howlett loses his memories, and becomes more commonly known as 'Logan'.

June, 3rd

Tony Stark makes Dum-E in his father's workshop.

December, 16th
Howard and Marie Stark are assassinated by HYDRA in Long Island, but the assassination attempt is made to look like a car accident.

December, 17th
Tony Stark inherits Stark Industries, becoming the youngest CEO of a Fortune 500 company, as well as a media celebrity. Stark Industries begins to enter into a new phase and starts works in medical technology, combating world hunger with their Intelli-Crops program.

Julie Coulson dies.

May, 15th
Ivan Vanko is imprisoned for fifteen years for selling Soviet-era weapons grade plutonium to Pakistan.

• Year: 1996

A 'mutant cure' experiment fails in the animal testing stages, causing Mad Cow Disease.

• Year: 1997

Warren Worthington III's mutation begins to manifest, and Warren Worthington II takes steps to ensure his son is 'cured' of his 'illness'.

• Year: 1998

January, 27th
Natasha Romanoff appears on S.H.I.E.L.D's radar, and Clint Barton is tasked with the assignment of killing her. He makes a different call.

• Year: 2000

June, 26th
The Human Genome Project (HGP) and Celera Genomics announce that they have finished the 'first draft' of the Human Genome Sequence. The project endeavours to map the human genome down to the nucleotide level and to identify all present genes.

• Year: 2003

Scientists with the (HGP) publish the first complete map of the human genome. It is around this time that the Mutant Phenomenon begins to gain ground, and the Mutant Registration Act is proposed by Senator Robert Kelly in an effort to expose mutants to the public.

• Year: 2005

The events of X-Men take place.

• Year: 2006

The events of X2 take place, shortly followed by the events of X-Men: The Last Stand.
The 'Incident' occurs, wherein Bruce Banner becomes the Hulk.

• Year: 2007

On the run, a suicidal Bruce Banner attempts to shoot himself in the mouth. The attempt fails, and the Hulk spits the bullet back out.

• Year: 2010

The events of Iron Man take place, and another 'incident' occurs, where the Hulk goes on a rampage, after which Bruce Banner disappears, and S.H.I.E.L.D stop in their attempts to capture him.

• Year: 2011

January, 10th
A period of relative peace follows the revelation that Tony Stark is Iron Man. He sets about stabilizing East-West relations, and targets the Ten Rings, a terrorist organization intent on destroying world peace by any means necessary. He saves an airman in Congo who was test piloting a vehicle manufactured by Justin Hammer, but it is at this time that Stark realizes the palladium core of his Arc Reactor is slowly poisoning him, and while searching for a cure he keeps his condition a secret.

February, 12th
Tony Stark is in Germany on a business trip to make a partnership between Stark Industries and Gorani Insurance when he is stopped by a police squadron. They inform him that fifteen million dollars worth of paintings had been stolen from a museum, describing the car of the thieves involved. After passing through, Stark later fixes the tire of a young woman, but further down the road he discovers the car that had been described to him, and finds the paintings hidden in the trunk of the vehicle. However, the criminals return, and open fire on Stark, but he manages to fend them off with the glove of the Mark IV Iron Man armour. Stark returns the paintings to the museum, and makes the meeting with the insurance company, only to discover that the woman whose car tire he repaired was Evetta Gorani, head of Gorani Insurance. It is also revealed that the stolen paintings had been insured by the same company, and that Stark saved them over one million dollars. He successfully enters into a business partnership with the company.

April, 22nd
The events of Iron Man 2 take place, in the meantime, Jane Foster, working in Puento Antiguo for Culver University, discovers a subtle aurora in New Mexico, an atmospheric disturbance that will continue to take place for the next sixteen days to the exact minute.

May, 30th
Jane Foster contacts Erik Selvig, who flies out to New Mexico to help monitor the disturbance, but her message is intercepted by S.H.I.E.L.D, and Phil Coulson is sent to investigate.

May, 31st
The events of Thor take place.

June, 2nd
Tony Stark ends the 2011 Stark Expo, while S.H.I.E.L.D continues to monitor the Hulk and the crater site in New Mexico, collecting what remains of the Destroyer.

June, 4th
The Nine Realms start tipping into chaos as a result of Loki's intentions to commit genocide against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim. Thor warns Hogun that there is a risk to his people in Vanaheim, who could be open to attack by Marauders. In New Mexico, S.H.I.E.L.D agents assist Jane Foster's research in finding Thor. They discover a possible chance to gain access to the same wormhole that brought him to Earth in the first place, and while the portal appears stable at first, it eventually fails. But refusing to succumb to failure, Jane keeps trying.

June, 5th
The World Security Council grants Nick Fury new funds for S.H.I.E.L.D, providing him with the means to closer examine the Tesseract and establish the 'Avengers Initiative'.

February, 3rd
Imir kidnaps several dwarves and threatens to take over Asgard, using a weapon he demands the dwarves fashion for him. Thor battles him, and electrocutes him into submission.

March, 13th
In Dubai, Stark races two men in suits similar to the Mark IV, but the suits of the two Dubai men malfunction and are destroyed, further proving that attempts to replicate the suit fall short.

March, 19th
As part of a training exercise, Hawkeye disguises himself as a spy and breaks into the helicarrier to trick the Black Widow into thinking he is stealing information about the Avengers Initiative, but Fury informs them that the initiative will only be put into place at a time when the world needs the team most.

April, 14th
Steve Rogers, in a cryogenetically induced sleep, is found.

April, 15th
S.H.I.E.L.D continues its research into various areas: Ivan Vanko's 'Whiplash' technology and Jane Foster's Nine Realms theory. During this time, parts of the Destroyer are assimilated to create a handheld weapon, and Hawkeye is sent to join Erik Selvig's team in the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S facility.

April, 16th
Steve Rogers' body is thawed out and he is removed to New York City.

April, 17th
Steve Rogers wakes up in New York City, and attempts to flee S.H.I.E.L.D custody, but is stopped by Nick Fury in Times Square.

April, 30th
Frigga discovers that Loki is still alive, and attempts to communicate with him. He refuses to respond, but she informs Odin and Thor of his reappearance.

May, 1st
The events of the Avengers Assemble take place, and during this time Vanaheim is attacked by Marauders, and while the Vanir attempt to retaliate, they are outmatched. From Norway, Darcy Lewis shows Jane Foster footage of the Battle of New York, in which she sees Thor, and quickly makes plans to return to the States, only to find the thunder god has already returned to the realm eternal. Heimdall expresses further concern for the Nine Realms upon Loki's return to Asgard, fearing that the trickster's forces may be too much for Thor to handle.

May, 5th
Loki is sentenced to imprisonment in the Asgardian dungeons. The Tesseract is given to Heimdall so he can repair the Bifrost, while Thor spends the next two years preparing an army to tackle the chaos that has spread across the Nine Realms. Jane, on Earth, grows frustrated at having spent a year of her life searching for Thor, and gives up in her research of the Nine Realms.

• Year: 2013

October, 21st
Thor leads an Asgardian army on a crusade to end the threats attacking the other realms.

October, 30th
The Convergence begins, causing the barriers between the Nine Realms to break down. Erik Selvig, still suffering from the effects of Loki's mind control, detects signs of the events and travels to Stonehenge to investigate. He requests Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis' assistance in the matter, but ends up streaking around the area naked, and is later apprehended and taken to a mental ward in London.

November, 1st
The events of Thor: The Dark World take place.

November, 7th
Now in possession of the Power Stone, the Collector sets about seeking out the next Infinity Stone.

The events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier take place.

• Year: 2014

May, 29th
Loki returns to Earth, paying a visit to Natasha Romanoff in Chicago, and Thor Odinson later in New York.

June, 12th
Wolfgang Von Strucker orders Kasandra Wulf to observe the Avengers while continuing to hunt down three very important targets: Natasha Romanoff, Ruth Aldine and Steve Rogers. In the first meeting between the Avengers since the battle of New York, they are informed of the events that took place in Washington, and alerted to the demise of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tensions become heightened, and Natasha Romanoff decides to leave the group, but not before putting forward the suggestion of a new leader: Thor Odinson.

June, 13th
Wolfgang Von Strucker disguises himself as Robert Armitage III, a wealthy English politician, who also holds a position within the World Security Council (WSC), and takes an interest in Jane Foster's research into wormholes. In the meantime, Kasandra Wulf is appointed to the position of Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

June, 17th
After meeting Ruth Aldine, and becoming reacquainted with Anna D'Ancanto, Natasha decides to involve the mutants in the fight against HYDRA.

June, 22nd
Natasha Romanoff and Thor Odinson launch the first assault against HYDRA, raiding S.H.I.E.L.D's New York Headquarters in an attempt to locate Loki's sceptre. The God of Mischief seeks to intercept their attempts, but the mission ultimately fails anyway. However, the agent and the thunder god manage to retrieve valuable information from the S.H.I.E.L.D mainframe before Romanoff elects to destroy the entire Advanced Technology Division.

June, 23rd
With her research lost by the destruction of ATD, Jane Foster receives help from Robert Armitage in the form of a new laboratory, equipment and funding for her research. Later, she also develops an interest in Bruce Banner's work on a Gamma Power Source. Following the failed raid, Loki seeks out what remains of the Brotherhood of Mutants, and meets Raven Darkholme and Mortimer Toynbee. The group is thus reformed under his leadership. His goals: to regain the sceptre and ensure no one stands in his way this time, and in an attempt to ensure this, he charges Toad with the task of spying on Natasha Romanoff and Anna D'Ancanto.

June, 30th
In the meantime, Kasandra Wulf manages to locate one of HYDRA's greatest assets, the Winter Soldier. In an effort to secure Barnes' continuing allegiances, Wulf attempts to manipulate him into believing that if he helps her bring down what remains of 'HYDRA', she will provide him with answers to his past.

July, 3rd
Agent Romanoff and Rogue learn from the files retrieved from the raid on S.H.I.E.L.D that HYDRAS.H.I.E.L.D and Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M) are working closely together in the production of new weapons, more specifically 'The Sentinel Project' but she is unable to decrypt  the file. Around this time, Mortimer Toynbee encounters Natasha Romanoff, and the former S.H.I.E.L.D agent requests a meeting with the one currently in charge within the Brotherhood, in an effort to unite all mutants under the similar cause of bringing down HYDRA.

July, 4th
The world's two top assassins, the Winter Soldier and the Black Widow, come face to face in a museum, where Romanoff attempts to breakthrough to the brainwashed Barnes.

July, 14th
Another meeting takes place among the Avengers, wherein Thor Odinson becomes the official leader, and instructs the group to move from Stark Tower to a more secure location. The group then decides to focus their efforts on the growing threat of HYDRA.

July, 17th
Natasha Romanoff meets the infamous Spiderman, and offers him a place in the Avengers Initiative.

July, 17th
In an effort to solidify his position within the Brotherhood, Loki Laufeyson makes Mortimer Toynbee an offer he can't refuse. In exchange for sending his new cohort to learn more of the current debacle S.H.I.E.L.D has found itself in, the trickster vows to fashion a device capable of disguising the more physical attributes of his ally's mutation.

July, 22nd
Kasandra Wulf finally manages to track down Natasha Romanoff, and attempts to endear herself as an ally to gain the trust of the former S.H.I.E.L.D agent.

July, 28th
Romanoff finally meets with the Brotherhood, and discovers that Loki of Asgard has assumed the mantel of leader. In an effort to secure the assistance of the Brotherhood to tackle the evergrowing threat that HYDRA poses with the Superhuman Registration Act, she offers her services to the group, promising the trickster that she will retrieve his sceptre for him in exchange for their allegiances, fully intending to doublecross him as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

August, 6th
At their new base, Tony Stark, Thor Odinson, Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff convene to discuss the creation of the Secret Avengers. It is agreed that the original six Avengers will maintain a pretense of following orders handed down to them by HYDRA, while in the meantime opening their ranks to the possibility of recruits, with Romanoff suggesting Peter Parker as a possible candidate for recruitment.

August, 7th
With the help of Harry Osborn, Tony Stark manages to open 'The Sentinel Project' files, learning for the first time of HYDRAS.H.I.E.L.D and A.I.M's intentions for mutants and superhumans alike; a targeting system made up of thirty foot tall cybernetic entities, programmed with a seek and destroy system that targets advanced beings specifically.

August, 18th
While on a surveillance mission of one of the A.I.M secret depots, Black Widow and Rogue witness the mutant, Shadowcat, being chased by a squadron of S.H.I.E.L.D agents after attempting, and failing to infiltrate the depot in search for information. In order to come to the aid of an old friend and her new comrade, Rogue finally manages to take control of Ms Marvel's powers, and uses them to fly the trio out of harm.

August, 19th
After months of searching, Emma Frost finally locates Loki of Asgard, and the White Queen and the God of Mischief broker an alliance.

August, 23rd
Emma Frost arrives at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters, and after promising Kurt Wagner that she will help him learn more concerning his past, manages to gain access to Cerebro.

August, 24th
With the intention of retaking the Hellfire Club, Frost intends to recruit Loki, and another mutant, Mercedez Bints, to help her seize control of the group from Sebastian Shaw and Selene Gallio. In exchange for their assistance, the White Queen intends to offer them positions within the group, but there is one other person Frost wishes to include in her schemes...

August, 26th
In Washington, Wolfgang Von Strucker, using his disguise as 'Robert Armitage', hosts a fundraising event to oppose the Superhuman Registration Act. Playing both sides of the divide, Strucker invites the likes of the X-Men and the Avengers to attend, with the Brotherhood also managing to gain access to the event. In the meantime, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Rogue and Loki also infiltrate the event in disguise, with the latter revealing himself and going on a rampage. However, before the chaos erupts, Romanoff's Widow Shell system malfunctions, resulting in her being spotted by Strucker, and pursued by Kasandra.

During the resulting disorder, Strucker gives Loki a fighting chance against the Avengers by attacking Thor with the Deathspores, incapacitating the God of Thunder, and allowing the God of Mischief to escape his clutches. However, the trickster is eventually and finally subdued by Balder Odinson, before being muzzled and detained within Stark Tower.

Meanwhile, Kasandra Wulf gives chase, and manages to severely injure Natasha Romanoff, who also brutally wounds the she-wolf of HYDRA in turn. During the process of the fight, the Winter Soldier switches sides in an attempt to protect Romanoff and the answers she holds pertaining to his past, turning on Agent Decaso in the meantime. Rogers arrives on the scene to aid Romanoff, but is confronted by Darius Lee Irons, in the disguise of Haoma, and the pair duke it out.

August, 29th
After coming face to face with Clint Barton, Maria Hill creates a new identity for herself in 'Jessica Jones' to remain hidden from HYDRA.

August, 30th
The former deputy director of S.H.I.E.L.D also manages to track down Natasha Romanoff to her safe house, having acquired many items necessary to their survival.

October 22nd
Checking how she was, Barton visits Natasha on her hideout and they briefed each other of new developments. Natasha learns that Kasandra Wulf is the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

With Kitty Pryde, Natasha opens more files from the S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ raid and found out that HYDRA is building new Helicarriers and have a secret base of operation in Boca Calient Island. Natasha recruits Kitty Pryde for the newly formed Secret Avengers.

October 26th
Maria Hill approaches Tony Stark to see if he could help her hide from Hydra. Tony offers her a 'job' at Stark Industries and gives her a room at Stark Tower.

At the same time Maria Hill is seeking sanctuary at Stark's, Kasandra Wulf orders Clint Barton to assemble the Avengers with a new mission... hunt down and capture the fugitives Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rodgers and Maria Hill.

October 29th
Emma Frosts brings Ophelia Sarkissian to New York in order to gain her help and support in the takeover of the Hellfire Club.

November 2nd
Natasha meets with Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spiderman) and after explaining to him what is going on and how he could help, she recruits him to the Secret Avengers.

November 5th
Electing to go out in search of more alcohol, Kitty drives from the mansion into the city, stopping for a coffee along the way, which soon proves to be a big mistake. The puny X-Man quickly finds herself confined to an alleyway, surrounded by HYDRA agents who use a aerosol based version of the cure to temporarily depower her. However, at that precise moment, the infamous webslinger swings in to save the day, landing himself promptly on HYDRAS.H.I.E.L.D's Most Wanted List, a list that seems to grow with every passing day.

November 18th
Kasandra Wulf, disguised as Nita Strassburg, pays a visit to the mansion to deliver some good news to Anna D'Ancanto and Katherine Pryde. S.H.I.E.L.D have decided to remove the target from their backs, and refocus their efforts on apprehending the fugitives; Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers and Maria Hill.

November 22nd
The Avengers meet so Clint Barton can give them the orders handed down from S.H.I.E.L.D. to find and apprehend the fugitives and also to discuss the creation and purpose of the Secret Avengers.

November 24th
Captured and held at Stark Tower, Loki awaits for someone to save him and salvation comes in the form of Emma Frost and Mystique as they arrive at Stark Tower. While Mystique shift into Pepper Potts and finds out where Loki is being held, Emma heads towards Stark's Penthouse...

... and finds Stark with Nita Strassburg. She creates an illusion to fool Stark but notices it does not affect 'Nita'. The beginning of HYDRA taking notice of Frost and Emma taking notice of HYDRA. The White Queen takes the codes from Stark's mind and Loki is set free.

December 6th
The first meeting of the new vision for the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club takes place, with Emma Frost, Loki Laufeyson, Ophelia Sarikissian and Joseph Washington coming together to discuss what is to be done about the reigning circles. Or, at least, what will be done in order to oust them, and claim their rightful place as rulers of the courts. Their starting point; remove the two obstacles in their way in the form of Black King, Sebastian Shaw, and Black Queen, Selene Gallio.

December 8th
Rogue calls upon the X-men to get involved in the fight against HYDRA, and tackle the oncoming threat they pose once and for all. Several plans are made, and several avenues explored, with Wolverine being assigned to survival tactics and hand-to-hand combat, Colossus to Danger Room sessions, Nightcrawler to bladed weaponry combat, Rogue to power management, and Kitty assuming the position of information specialist.

January 2nd
On the day of the takeover of the Hellfire Club, it is decided that Emma Frost and Loki Laufeyson will tackle the insane Selene Gallio, while Ophelia Sarkissian and Joseph Washington focus their efforts on the arrogant Sebastian Shaw, but all four find out it was not going to be easy. The Black King quickly manages to establish Ophelia and Joseph's intentions and things take a turn for the worst. Meanwhile Loki and Emma have their hands full with the Black Queen Selene's power and madness. All they are left with is a wide range of defensive and ranged tactics to bring the woman down, before a dent in her armour is finally revealed, and her head finds a new master as Emma confronts Shaw and ultimately finishes the job alongside her new allies. The Hellfire Club is reborn.

January 20th
Kitty comes across a flier announcing a presentation Dr Otto Octavius is holding at the nearby community college, and wastes little time in getting a cab to the location. As the presentation draws to a close, the petite brunette has the opportunity to speak with the nuclear physicist, theorizing that the nuclear energy evolutionists believe mutants are capable of emitting, could allow them to create a system whereby mutants could also be detected.

The newly re-organized Hellfire Club celebrated by opening their doors to a select few in a lavish party. Emma Frost and her entourage gave the elite a night to remember, bringing the club into the new age.

January 23rd
Natasha visits Illya Rezanov with two request: First, he creates for her a more powerful Widow's Bite weapon system and also for him to join the Secret Avengers, as the Black Widow continues her recruiting effort for the war against HYDRA.

January 24th
As the director of S.H.I.E.L.D rushes back to HQ in need of the suppressant to keep her fangs and claws at bay, she bumps into the Grand Imperator of HYDRA... in the backseat of her car. She then receives some worrying news from the S.T.R.I.K.E team that one of her agents has decided to kick up a storm again, this time unleashing his hatred on two unsuspecting mutants. When Kass and Strucker arrive at the scene, in the guise of Nita Strassburg and Robert Armitage, it is to encounter the titanium giant, Colossus, and it is clear that there is only one way the matter can be dealt with, and after the baron has taken down the mutant, the baroness orders him to be brought to Ryker's Island.


February 16th
Staying at Stark Tower, Maria Hill has a conversation with Tony Stark concerning her plan to elude capture by HYDRA. After the argue about the folly of her plan to fake her own death, Maria decides to put her trust in the Avengers and Secret Avengers and go on with the original plan of getting herself captured by HYDRA along Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers. The night end in an unexpected twist for both of them, however...

February 21st
Infiltrating Baxter Building, Black Widow comes face to face with Ben Grimm and convince him that she is not a traitor, neither Hill and Rogers and prompts Ben to convince the Fantastic Four to join forces with the Secret Avengers.

February 22nd
As news reaches them at the Ranch, Natasha Romanoff and Katherine Pryde prepare to come to Colossus' aid, and prepare to launch a daring rescue mission. They lay down a plan involving the X-Men as a whole, with Natasha teleporting into Ryker's prison to disable the dampening field, while Kitty leads her teammates onto the island via the sewers to save the Russian tin man. With the former S.H.I.E.L.D agent electing to inform the X-Men, the puny X-Man stays behind to uncovers some maps detailing the underground of the island.

March 5th
The Black Widow seeks out the X-Men - after tripping the rather poor alarm system they have in place around the mansion - and rallies the troops in Rogue, Nightcrawler, Angel and Rubber Maid, as it were. She informs them of he capture of their teammate, before providing them with a detailed plan of how she's prepared to go about rescuing him, and separating them into groups to launch the mission.

March 7th
After a stint in Ryker's Island prison, the 'cured' Wanda Maximoff is amazed to come face to face with one of the X-Men, and a familiar face from the past in a 'cured' Colossus. However, all is not what it seems with the Cure, and after establishing she can trust him to do the right thing, the Scarlet Witch reveals to her fellow mutant that the effects are not permanent, before offering him a demonstration; a taste of the devastation she is prepared to cause once the full extent of her powers are restored.

March 10th
Looking for her siblings, Lorna Dane meets up with Pietro and Mystique, who are unaware of Wanda Maximoff's whereabouts.

March 21st
The X-Men, along with Natasha Romanoff, begin their mission into Ryker's Island, in an attempt break out their teammate. However, with him confined to a sector of the prison that has yet to be reported, and a chaos inducing mutant's powers steadily resurfacing, it will be an even more difficult feat than the group originally realized.
