I'll drown, you'll take me down

What a day it been? She meets so many interesting people in the city and yeah there was school and what not with the pool. Sometimes she needs a break and well to be alone. That is nobody was here she made her way most would call Florida. Sorry, the climate is perfect and yeah she loved the salt water. People took the vacation in New Orlean and she took her well warmer climate.

Sorry, it just one those thing she enjoyed swimming warm climate. That water was a best and well better than swimming pool. That is she love swimming in the water and what, not water. The salt water did wonder to her fish gills. and well she enjoys that is water.

That is she arrive that is she arrive at the hotel and went to sleep at the hotel of course. Then after that, she heads to her place the beach. As she swims in her one piece swimsuit. She was enjoying herself and well she was in her element she went as far out as that the dolphin and went underwater with the dolphin that is the dolphin came investigation what she was.  That is sea cow came over and was swimming with her. That is there curious peek that is they wonder where she came from.

Even some killer whale decide to swim over that is she was enjoying a little vacation from school and well most would not think even as the wave and well she went under the water and well that did not bother she could not drown because she had gills and her even under the ship that is and what not. That is one whale had thought she was drowning or something because most two legs could not be withstanding staying underwater that long. That is most would drown but not her in this case and she was just enjoying whale and other animals. Something there was clicking sound that is she was speaking to them.

While some people went to New Orleans, Peter decided that he wanted to stay in New York. It’s not that he didn’t want to experience Mardi Gras – it’s just that he felt it would have been better if he just stayed around the city for the sake of his job.

A job that entailed giving pictures to a news publication that used them to slander him and, nowadays, his fellow Avengers.

Such was his life.

As it was, they needed new photos to use for stock, and they wanted some of the beach. So, he ended up being sent down to Florida.

So much for staying in the state.

He didn’t complain much. He didn’t mind being paid to take a quick down south. The hotel was even decent – it wasn’t something that would have been given to The King of Wakanda, but it was cozy enough.

So, after a good night’s rest and some breakfast, Peter decided to hit the beach. Dressed in a pair of black beach sandals, a pair of red beach sorts, and t-shirt, he walked down the beach with his camera slung around his neck. He looked around, trying to find a good place to snap pictures. After finding a good spot, he grabbed his camera with both hands.

“Okay, time to justify my trip,” he said as he brought the camera in front of his face. He looked through the eyehole before he started to snap turn around in his spot and snapped pictures.

That is she was swimming around the pier that is people were drinking and well having a good time there. It was a good time that is  a lot of people where swimming and well having a great time at the beach. People running around on the beach just playing around and well that is with the beach. But nobody swims around the pier it was most dangerous part  to swim around but that was where dolphin and whales swim there.

As she swims around the water and well she was gliding around the water. At one point the dolphin had splashed her and splash them back.That is she was playing right back at them.  Then at one point whales saw them that spy hopping with one another. That is one dolphin to a jump over her and well that was the funny most look on to try to figure out how she got so close to dolphins and what not.

Then out nowhere something to turn to fear because she was pulled under water by something underwater. People were getting out the water because they thought something under the water.  What was that something that had to pull her underwater it was the squid?  That is she attempt to mimic it communication with it. Then she saw why it is had to pull her under the water. A fishing net was wrap around the tentacles  and well she had taken a  stick working on getting the string off and well she had not surfaced and well she got the loss but people on the beach were panicking and what not mention sea monster and what not. That is it had the giant eye and what not. She wasn't sure it would be good surface because everyone would wonder how survived being underwater for some hours. She wasn't sure she want to answer all those questions. The dolphin telling what they were doing.

Peter continued snap pictures, making sure to get the right angles. As he did so, he smirked a bit.

You know, after an hour of this, I can take the rest the day off and just enjoy…

He trailed off in this when he felt the tingle at the back of his neck. He looked around as people started to move out of the water. He lowered his camera, trying to figure out what was going on. He then heard murmurs of someone being pulled under.

…Well, so much for not playing hero for a day.

Peter dropped his camera before he ran towards the water, accidentally bumping into people along the way. He kept on running forward until he was waist-deep in. He then dove in, taking in a deep breath before he was completely submerged. He opened his eyes, grimacing slightly as the salt stung his eyes. He kept on swimming outward and deeper, trying to find the person that was submerged. Eventually, he was able to see…

…What the heck?

He stopped swimming and remained still in the water as he watched what was going on in front of him.

There was the woman alright… but she didn’t even look the least bit distressed. If anything, the creature that was trapped in the net looked as if it was the one in danger. Feeling his breath trying to force his way out of his lungs, he brought his right hand up and held up a finger, as if it to tell her to wait. He then swam towards the surface to grab a fresh breath.

That was true she pulls under by creature and what not. That is she start the process of untangling  the net as she did so and was getting it off the creature. That is she was afraid that creature would turn on her and what not. That is she was getting almost off when Peter appearance and made the creature nervous. She almost calms it down and now nervous wreck and reaction that is ink start come out in Peter direction. That is she had joking with her that she might relate to Poseidon and which case shaking head no she was not and that she was flatter that the squid thought that and that was very sweet for that.

Well, she did calm it down and now ink came out one tentacle was free she was pulled forward by the creature near its mouth and that it the close conversation. They were talking and well if the one thing I will off myself if he is. That is her hand she encircles head and well tried in a way to comfort it and what not with one another as they continue if he was out to not help and entrap she would help it set free again. That is about what SeaWorld did and what not with one another.

She was not afraid of giant squid that was far from it and she was able to communication with one another which is pretty only one surface and well she did not come up for air and as he did. She watches him come up for air but the problem as she was helping it she figures need some air and or seem to ask her to wait and she did not seem to need air and well it was because she had fish gills on her neck and well it might be difficult to a see murky water.  And she was afraid if she surface and people would ask question and she honest did not feel like answering questions.  I'll check to see what he is doing if he doing anything bad. That is she was touching the creature and that she promise would be right back. She starts to surface just see what he was doing."Well, you do not seem to be anything bad." She starts to go back down and well helping the creature  get out of the net.

Once Peter hit the surface, he took in a breath. He could have held his breath longer if he had to – he had a lot of experience doing so. But he was already pushing it when he swam into the ocean and took a dive. For obvious reasons, no one thought he was Spider-Man. But he’d rather not give anyone a reason to believe he was a superhuman of any kind.

As he remained on the surface, the woman he saw from earlier appeared. After remarking that he didn’t seem like anything bad, she dove again. Tilting his head for a bit, Parker drew in a large breath before he went diving after her again. As he followed her, he watched her, wondering why she was down there in the first place exactly. It then became clear as he watched her try to free… was that a squid? Well, whatever it was, it was trapped by the net.

…Well, looks like I get to play hero again – joy, he thought semi-sarcastically. He descended down onto the creature. He then looked towards the woman and raised his left thumb at her, trying to show that he was he was going to help.

Okay, here’s hoping she can keep a secret, he thought. He descended slowly onto the creature. He then grabbed hold of the net with two hands. Easy, big fella. I’m here to help you. He then clenched his jaw shut as he started to tear the net apart with seemingly too much ease.

Should she be afraid of squid? There was a many incident squid attacking people but she got information from it that is it was afraid and the reason why squid act badly. It was a lot of ado with fear and when squid moved around people and what not it had to do with well curious. It was curious about us and what not. What thinks her reason debut surface was? People on the beach would wonder one thing what is she? She is not sure she want to answer all those questions. She did not have paper go on and what not read on with what they want to hear. It well starts to moved that is squid moved as the net came off. Wow, she thought as she thought she bet nobody saw the moment of the squid and well live through the moment all one could say. It moved off now that it was free but she gave the squid a friendly wave at it. That is she had a thing marine life and well with communicate with them. It became hard to ignore them but play dumb but the squid made it difficult and she went after it as soon as she saw it. She knew she had to a help it and what not. 

Did she not ask him for help with being the hero? She was going to help that squid it did not matter she was going to do it.It was hard to ignore the voices when you hear marine animals speak to you. That is it was next to impossible to ignored them. She knew if this told this guy he would think she was crazy but that was why she plan to keep to herself that is why she was out there save an animal. And then her reason is she is not going, to say the least, what was going on and on a beach, it had turn mob with a camera that is with their lights were blinding. "Well, it looks to have to go the other way around."

Then she surfaces again to check out surrounding and what was going on shore. It had become mob on the beach that is people taking pictures and everything. That is the scene did not look good that is snapping a picture. That is nearly blind her with the light and she went back down under water. That is she disappear once again underwater and start to move out around her. That is dolphin they were chit chat on which way go which part of the beach did not have mob there. That is this girl was independent, to say the least, that is she swim with one another and what not. That is she asked do you see anyone there? No, she did not and what not. That is well he could follow her back beach on where she was going.  That is she did not feel like answering the question and start to swim around the other side further from the pier but where they would think she would pop up and for that matter and she made back to a shore alright where the pier and nobody saw her pop up. That is if he felt answering by all mean she was not going to stopped spiderman but she was out. Her parent would not approve of this and well she wants to be singer not hero or anything like that. That was her goal up to this point.

Oh if this woman knew who Peter was, she wouldn’t have to worry him thinking she was crazy. Peter been around so many different people with so many different abilities, he’d accept it with a straight face if he she told him she summoned living, sentient tacos that crapped ice cream.

As it was, he remained underwater as he saw her surface. He watched her, keeping his breath as he waited to see if there was any chance of him going to sure. After seeing her descend, he ascended straight up. Just before he broke the surface, he craned his head backward. He broke the surface of the water just enough for his nose to be elevated. He took in a breath and dove again. As he descended, he watched as the woman swam away. He thought about just leaving her be. However, against his better judgment, he followed her.

They ended up on the other side of a pier. He swam onto the shore, slowly standing up once he reached it. He stopped in his tracks, taking a moment to fix his breathing. After taking in one deep breath, he turned towards the woman.

“…Hi,” he said with a smile. “Nice day for a swim, wouldn’t you say? Or, to rescue a squid, for that matter.” He chuckled to himself and at his own joke. He then cleared his throat, realizing that it would be a wise move to introduce himself. “I’m Peter, by the way. And you are?”

Well, most people she did not go around talking about well her secrets.That is she did not go around advertising when she starts hearing voices. The first time it happens that is she was Seaworld and the good whale was making noise  that was too low to be heard. That is the whale he was going pull one trainer in the water and well know she would be label nut if she was trying to stop the show. That is she told her parent she felt sick. That is she fake it and got her family out of SeaWorld before it happened and well she found out later that the whale pulls the trainer into the water and had killed the trainer just like said it would to another whale in the tank. Then she knew that she had something up with her. That is her family right then that she had heard the voices. But they did not understand why she did not anything and well she told flat out they would think she was crazy for stopped the show. And would think she environmental freak and what not.  That is she did not want anyone badly of her and what not. That is she did won't consider weird.

That is before whole mutant power thing she was already considered freak or weird. That is well she was done already rejection by the boy in class long ago. That is she such nerd or what consider odd. The surprising factor well he did not notice that well she did not seem to need to breathe as he does but she could actually breathe underwater but she was not about that reason because of her gills.

She supposes he did not go off on the matter of the water issue. That is he was one decide to follow her that is. Yeah, there some animals she is afraid it would have sharks and that is she was afraid of squid or other animals just sharks. That is because they are eating machine or anything. Squid are way different then sharks and are so whales other marine animals. Right, nice day for swim or rescue squid.   "I suppose it is. My name Daphne." In Greek myth there was nymph name Daphne was the fun thing to a know about.

While Peter knew a little more about Greek Mythology than the average person – mostly because his knowledge on the subject wasn’t limited to a Disney movie and a series starring Kevin Sorbo, awesome as they were – he didn’t know enough to make the connection with her name. He barely knew what a nymph was, let alone any of the named ones.

“Pleased to meet you, Daphne,” Peter said with a smile. There was a small part of him that wanted to ask about her abilities. It didn’t take an expert on human biology to know that it wasn’t normal for a human to be able to hold their breath for as long as she did. Was she one of the few non-metahumans that just happened to have an abnormality with a part of her anatomy, like a set of lungs that could hold more air? Or was she a superhuman of some kind?

Peter was curious, but he was also reluctant. He was Spider-Man after all. And the only person who knew that – other than himself, of course – was NATASHA ROMANOFF. And he wanted to keep it that way. As such, he felt it would have been rather hypocritical if he was to pry.

But there was one thing he wanted to know.

“That squid… how did you spot it?” he asked. It was an honest question – and, for obvious reasons, it never occurred to him that the squid asked for her help. It never occurred to him that animals in the wild could reach out to people.

That is at old school they pound in world history they taught about Greek mythology and then religion things.She saw Percy Jackson movie and well then there Hercules movie. That is she saw that Kevin Sorbo that is they made write down the full page of a notebook on the matter greek myth as well  Roman. That is they had written down almost all religion they had to write down fact they place on the board. They never got into paganism or Wiccanism.

Well, she never talks about it and that was the topic she would subject on him. It was like well change the subject because it made some men uncomfortable. "Nice to meet you, Peter." That is if he would do it with the question she might question him on how netting thing. That is the world was full of secret and like Nessy she was like monster refuse say what she was or power wise how she got there or why. So she thinking over how to come up with a reasonable way how she saw the animal so he would not think she was crazy and well if she says that the animal could speak to her they would think she was insane.

That is she knew if she had told parents that she could hear whale talking and planning to pull trainer that is and they would get her because some people suffer mental disorder and well with hearing voices and well-being lock up because they would think she was insane she puzzles over then said." Well, there was wave it knocks me underwater and when I did I saw it." She was lying yes because she was afraid she would be label crazy on the subject it pulls her underwater and well she after it that that was far from the truth.

When she told him that she was knocked underwater by a wave, he nodded. “Well, how fortunate for the squid,” he said with a chuckle. “Seriously, that was a great thing you did. Captain Planet would be proud.” He said this in a tone that was both in seriousness and in jest. While he pretended that he believed her story about being knocked underneath the wave, something told him that wasn’t really the case. But he didn’t push it. He had quite a bit of understanding for the need of secrecy, keeping his identity hidden from everyone except Natasha. The last thing he wanted to do was put her in a situation where she ended up exposing herself.

He’d feel extremely guilty about it.

“Have you ever thought about a career in Marine Biology?” Peter asked, trying to make conversation. He then remembered that he left his camera over there. On one hand, he wanted to go back over there and grab it. On the other hand, he’d probably be hounded by questions about what happened to the girl. He turned his head over to the beach. He then shrugged. If anything, he could just buy another camera and take pictures again tomorrow.

Maybe I can convince Natasha that it’s a business expense, he thought jokingly. He then internally scoffed. Probably not. Unless I bribe her with food – maybe some of the local stuff. Eh, I’d probably have a better chance at bribing Jonah. He’d kill for pics of Spider-Man in Florida.

Yeah is she lying through her teeth about that?She was a mostly well most people that are and what not of the matter that understands animal underwater.The squid was lucky she was here and what not.That has she seen the video of the good dolphin being killed and what not with one another. She saw the video of it and well was sad that is with one another. That is Captain planet would be proud but that really just cartoon character. There are other planet problem that need be resolved but are going difficult on it like air polluters and well oil spill. That is she could not save the world or all animals that are with one another. Captain planet would want to find the way to solve him. She let out the giggle of her own at his jest but the only thing is what he had to say that is. At least he did comment on how she follow the dolphin to the area where nobody was at and well would be able to make an escape. That is with the matter and well yeah she had the secret she felt a lot of people would not understand. That does people advertising who they are. 

A marine biology well that would be difficult thing well on the matter being it.It would be like that is bunch people she did not think would listen to a her that something happened and well that is. That is she could see in her head what would happen and well it would be like whale pulling sea trainer into tank drowning the trainer. She did not see beforehand but heard about whale preplanned and well she got her parent out of SeaWorld and she could not tell that she did that. That is with one another and what not with the whale and stuff. She sometimes what happened if she had something and what not. That is well she knew that whale at SeaWorld was not really happy there with having the same trick over and over again. Who would be happy with that lifestyle?

"Yeah I have thought about doing that. But I do not have a lot of money into doing all that is college wise be that.I had too much I had to take care when I was younger that I did not have time to a do so because I had to take care of my grandmother."That is she had no faith her aunt taking care of her yes well now she just waitress and well that is yeah she saving money up from that but that is not enough really go college on but enough on vacation with that.

That is she figure you have trained and this that on the subject itself and well they would not want her if she told that whale is upset and then one does stupid and end up the same position as the trainer and she was way from group because she told them and they do not believe her whale was going to do it.People just don't marine biology in a day they have to go through the test and go college and everything for that to a happen. It sounds easy when Peter says it but it is harder then well he would think it would. Not mention her grandmother put through a lot of grief let just say that with a drinking habit.

Peter Parker listened to her. A look of empathy came across his face as he did so. He knew what it was like to have family to take care of. An image of his Aunt May came across his mind, which caused a bit of a heavy feeling in his chest.

Oh, if Aunt May only knew the exploits I’ve been up to, he thought to himself with an internal sigh. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t be able to know anytime soon, if at all. He hoped that one day he could explain it to her, and give her the reasons behind all of those missed dinners and late nights.

“I know the feeling,” Peter said. “I have an Aunt that I look after.” He paused for a moment. As he thought it about it, that wasn’t QUITE accurate. “Well, she looks after me, too, but I like to think I do more of the looking after.” He chuckled a bit. “But yeah, I know, to an extent, how that feels.” Especially since when I’m swinging around on the web, so to speak.

The balancing act – that was what the most taxing part of it all for Peter. Had he had it his way, he wouldn’t have to worry about it. He would be out in the open about being Spider-Man without worrying about the repercussions, especially those regarding those that could affect his family.

Such is life.

“Well, I hope that one day you could find the time to do so,” he said.

Her grandmother was a well always worried about her when she went swimming when not swimming pool mainly the other animals. How they would reaction and yeah some animals she was scared of getting too close too. She could not leave her and well she had more problems that are Aunt May was not a drinker and had well so many problems and well let just say the grandmother was not nicest that is with her. Let just she was not allowed to leave the house and that she stay awake and well she fell to sleep  and when she did someone sneak into her house and kill her grandmother. If asked she did not know what she would have done to that person that is possible of well killing the intruder came to a mind.

Now she has time for finally but she wishes it was under different circumstances that are she love her despite everything that happened and something she was old bitter and well call her names she would love her no matter what and that was it.  She knew she could move forward but she had to think about it really much because that is she was afraid failing and well things falling apart like before with her grandmother. Or if she meets someone would she have the same relationship that her mother had with the many men that she had been. It made her hesitation because if her employer found she was mutant they might not want her. Then there was discrimination if she took on there was that thought at well. Would they accept her if they hired or would they fire her? It just like if she got in a relationship with boy she would forever wonder would they accept her for who she was or would she have pretend she was something she was not.
