In the dead of night whenever you call
Being at the Hellfire Club was unnerving for the speed demon. He was on edge more than normal and the amount of people passing through the property did not sit well with him either. He had to repeat to himself that Wanda knew what she was doing and that he trusted her. Not that his faith in his sister has wavered. He simply felt she might not be seeing things clearly or at least was being deceived by these people. There had to be an ulterior motive for all of this. Trust was not Pietro Maximoff strong suit. After watching their parents being murdered, and being used by a number of people in his life, the speed demon was inclined to only trust one person. His other half and no one else. It was nothing against them, but with the ordeals the twins had been through, it was a wonder they lived in society instead of hiding away on some remote island in the middle of the ocean.
Finding those within the club unsettling, Pietro spent his time working out different escape routes in case they were in need of it. Call him paranoid but at least he could sleep if he knew that he had some ways to make a hasty exit. Given how some of the people were looking at him, especially the woman with the green hair, he was certain he’d be using the routes sooner than expected. Currently, the speedster has just done several laps around the property. He was checking the limits and how far security measures stretched out. Slowing down, he came to a stop in the forest between some trees.
With his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, the speed demon looked at the house from his point, trying to see if there were any blind spots as well. In his head, he was listening to music, curtesy of the ipod he had stolen off of someone during his last run into the city. There had been some struggle to figure the device out, but once he turned it on, the mutant had let the device simply play. It was hard for anyone to tell he was there or taking anything thanks to his speed. Music he had not heard before blared into his ears, keeping unwanted people out of his head. Wanda mentioned his mind was hard to read, but that did not mean there wasn’t someone who might be able to. Paranoia at it’s best.
And please don't fight these hands that are holding you..
My hands are holding you
My hands are holding you
