Ya, it was a shame that they spent less time together since it would be far better for Christian if they would meet more often. This way he would have a better insight to what Warren was up to and how his life was proceeding. But what could they do? Warren was bound to SHIELD and whatever he was doing there and Christian’s duty was with the Hellfire Club on the one hand and Frost International on the other hand, there wasn’t much time left for personal stuff to do, although Christian was good at getting free time at his hand, mostly because of his secretary who undertook several tasks to take the pressure of Chrisian’s shoulders and in terms of the Hellfire Club it was simply because his sister, Loki and O did take care of everything important without consulting with him. He only did what was required from him while being the White King and this included to make sure his court and all other White Courts around the world were on the same side and did not get lost in any personal quarrels the members might have with each other or he ensured that no White Court did go astray from the main course. Well, we can’t forget about our duties, darling. But then, we are only humans and no one can forbid us to have some social interactions he said with a wink of the eye. So, actual it’s up to us if we meet more often or not. To him it would be better for said reason. His plan with Warren would only be of success if he would become a constant part of Warren’s life, and with that he was not only thinking about Warren’s love or private life but also of his secret life he was having with SHIELD. However, Christian knew that this part of his plan will have to wait until their friendship deepened, if he would shoot for it too soon, he will fail to hit the bulls eye. Warren might be naïve but he wasn’t stupid. With a light knock on the table’s wooden surface with his right hand, Christian sealed their deal Warren has just agreed upon. Then it’s settled. I’ll take care of the documents that will be smuggled into your father’s company’s data base. I’m sure there are workers that can be paid for being helpful getting the ball rolling. He brought his hand up to his jacket’s inside pocket and pulled out a cell. Give me your phone number so I can stay in touch with you. Warren told his story and Christian, as much as it bored him to listen to a story that wasn’t quite something that was of any interest to him, listened and faked an interested facial expression. After all, if he could also manage to help Warren to find his father’s murderer, Warren would owe him another thing, ergo he would be even more bound to him by gratefulness. It’s surprising, you know. There is an important business being murdered and no one really seems to be interested in finding and trying his murderer. Don’t you think it strange he asked and somewhat started to feel intrigued by it. Warren’s father was an important businessman and normally, if such a person was murdered all hell would break loose and every available squad responsible to maintain law and order would be working on it. But since this night nothing came of it… Your father had been murdered by a woman he repeated the fact for no specific reason. Anything else you know could help finding her? I mean, I have better and more measures to dig in the dirt to find a worm than you have or even the police. The Hellfire Club itself has had enough measures and possibilities to find single persons like a needle in the haystack. However, Christian was not yet sure if he will use that ace at all. Before we continue this subject I need to ask you something. What do you wish for to happen if the murderer is found? Or better, will it make it change anything? Sure, Christian did not feel any sympathy for Warren’s loss mostly since his own father had been a swine… But the reason he asked those questions was another. He did not want to waste time and resources only to avenge a murder that no one cared about anymore. There were far more important things to come than some personal loss in the past.
