About
T'Challa, otherwise known as Black Panther, is the warrior-king of the mighty nation of Wakanda, the world's only source of vibranium. A small kingdom in eastern Africa, Wakanda has developed into one of the most wealthiest and technologically advanced nations in the world, though it mostly keeps to itself. Despite his country's isolationist tendencies, Black Panther sees value in interacting with the outside world, and is willing to work with other superheroes to keep the world safe. As King, it is T'Challa's duty to rule and protect his people, and the patriotic warrior always puts the needs of Wakanda above all else. Between his superhuman abilities, genius intellect, and large amounts of wealth and power, T'Challa can be arrogant at times, but he possesses a noble heart, and always tries to accomplish what he thinks is right.
Relationships
Despite his willingness to explore international options, T'Challa remains a loner at heart, and he has forged few relationships outside of Wakanda. During his world travels, T'Challa befriended a few people from around the globe, though he has struggled to maintain such relationships. As part of his diplomatic duties, T'Challa has met with many foreign dignitaries and businessmen, though rarely has T'Challa befriended one. Most of T'Challa's friends come from within Wakanda itself.
T'Challa's immediate family includes his stepmother, N'Yami, his uncle and former Black Panther, S'Yan, and his sister, Shuri. T'Challa's closest friend and most trusted advisor is W'Kabi, Captain of the Panther Guard. T'Challa is also close with his surrogate uncle and friend, the mighty Zuri. The Dora Milaje are an all-female organization of bodyguards formed to protect T'Challa currently led by Okoye and her apprentice Nakia.
The Wakandan ruler's friends include fellow Secret Avengers Natasha Romanoff, Maria Callasantos, and Jack Dolci. The Black Panther is also on friendly terms with Solomon Cage.
T'Challa is a heterosexual male who has shown interest in romantic pursuits, but rarely prioritizes them over what he considers more important matters. His first and only serious relationship was with British singer Monica Lynne, but he was forced to end the relationship so he could return to Wakanda. As King of Wakanda, T'Challa has many ceremonial wives, known as the Dora Milaje, though his relationships with them are purely platonic, and T'Challa must still choose a woman to officially be his Queen. T'Challa is not actively looking for romance, but he is open to starting a relationship.
Like any man in a position of wealth and power, T'Challa has his own fair share of enemies. Wakanda's large supply of vibranium attracts many different types of criminal, many of which who attempt to steal the valuable resource. Fortunately, many of the thieves are caught and dealt with swiftly. T'Challa's greatest enemy is Ulysses Klaw, the Dutch weapons dealer who murdered T'Challa's father. Other enemies include the criminal groups Leviathian and the Hellfire Club.
After T'Challa's battle with Dr. Doom, tensions have increased between Wakanda and Latveria, though Wakanda's most dangerous international threat is still the United States. US Congressman Edward Valencia has emerged as a very vocal critic of both T'Challa and Wakanda, while the Black Panther suspects certain elements within the CIA are working to undermine his rule. The country of Nairobia is of minimal threat to the Wakandan people, but Nairobia's frequent lack of stability are a source of concern.
Among T'Challa's enemies includes many threats still unknown to him, and one that is. T'Challa's adopted brother, Hunter, and the rest of the disbanded Hatut Zeraze starkly oppose T'Challa's rule, but cannot be considered direct enemies of Wakanda.
Recent History
T'Challa first emerged on the superhero scene during the Ultron crisis, where the Black Panther assisted the X-men in attacking Boca Caliente Island. After the threat had ended, T'Challa joined the Secret Avengers, having already earned Natasha's trust during a harrowing series of events several years before. After participating in several training sessions with his teammates, T'Challa was part of the strike team that attacked the Hellfire Club. The battle ended with T'Challa giving himself up to American police, and rumors of his militant involvement on US soil earned the wrath of both the US government and media, causing T'Challa to retreat back to Wakanda and close the countries borders. Nothing has been heard from either T'Challa nor Wakanda since, but with the SHRA looming on the horizon, T'Challa will not be able to remain silent for much longer.
Plot Ideas
Hey, I'd love to hear your ideas for our characters! In case you cannot think of something but still want to thread, I wrote a couple Wakanda-centric ideas down that can hopefully be accommodating for any characters or other awesome ideas.
Legion of Doom - Tired of treachery and backed by an unknown donor, Klaw has hired an army of mercenaries, criminals, and super-villains to launch an all-out attack on Wakanda's nigh-impenetrable borders. Will the self-styled Legion of Doom succeed where no other army has failed, or will T'Challa be able to swallow and find new allies of his own?
Undead Uprising - While zombies have always held a place in Wakandan legend, even the most devout Wakandans consider the myths of reanimated undead to be nothing more than fairy tale, but when rumors of a mysterious zombie uprising reach the Royal Palace, T'Challa is forced to suspend an important Wakandan festival in order to investigate such rumors.
Wolf of Wall Street - A new crew has violently entered the New York underworld, earning the attention of heroes and villains alike. Inspired by Christopher Priest's BP run.

About
James "Logan" Howlett is a centuries old mutant with anger issues and too many missing memories. A member of the X-men, Logan tries to fight the good fight more out of personal loyalty rather than dedication to a greater good. A bit of a rebel, Logan stubbornly follows his own personal code of ethics, and does not take being given orders very kindly.
Relationships
Family is very important to Logan, despite his inability to find a permanent one. Logan has a decent relationship with most of the X-men, but Rouge is especially important to him. Logan sees her almost as a surrogate daughter, and will go to great lengths to protect her, though he would never impose on her ability to choose her own path. Outside of the X-men, Logan has a solid working relationship with Natasha Romanoff, though he doesn't actually remember what he did to earn her trust. Logan considers Scott a rival, though with Jean now out of the picture, it remains to be seen whether the tension between them will increase or decrease.
As a member of the X-men, Logan is an enemy of anyone who threatens mutant rights or tries to worsen the delicate relationship between mutants and humanity, including organizations such as The Brotherhood, the Hellfire Club, and just recently Hydra. Out of the above groups, Logan dislikes Mystique the most, due to their hostile meetings in the past. Logan possesses a dark and violent history with his mutant half-brother Victor Creed, though the two's mutual lack of memory has kept the hostility to a mere rivalry.
Recent History
After the death of Jean Grey on the Golden Gate Bridge, Logan has virtually retreated from society. After several years in a drunken grief over the loss of his latest true love, Logan has only just recently returned to Xavier's mansion in response to the impending SHRA.
