Hellfire Club's NPCs and Adoptables

NPC CHARACTERS During the creation and several threads and posts of Hellfire Club characters, some individuals have been mentioned and even NPCed during plots for the Hellfire Club membersgroup. For that reason, they have becoming quite integral to the subplots of the group and hence we decided to make them official NPCs. These characters are available for anyone in the membersgroup to write with or to ask any other writer to write them in service of some plot or fun thread you might want. They can also be adopted as actual characters if anyone is interested and is willing to work with us the staff in the creation of the character. JASON SMITLEY Smitley is Emma's butler and basically one of her most trusted of aides. He began in the service of the Frost family in the early 80s and was always extremely pleasant with Emma, to the point that when she ruined Winston Frost, she asked Smitley to come work for her, which he gladly accepted. He is Emma's keeper of secrets and also would do anything to please his employer. Had a dry and witty humor about him, but he is also quite serious about his duties to Emma and by extension, to the now reformed Inner Circle. KENNETH BRANAGH♟ 50+ ♟ BUTLER JEAN RENAULT Renault is a former DGSE (French Special Forces) agent that after forced retirement from the service went on to do private security for rich people. That is where he came in contact with Emma Frost. He is also a normal member of the Hellfire Club and although he knows of the Inner Circle, he is not part of it. He serves as Emma's chauffeur and unofficial security director for Frost International. A debonair man, with a soft and almost hypnotic and very French accented voice, Renault looks more like a bohemian or an actor than a very efficient chauffeur and security. GORAN VISNJIC♟ 40+ ♟ CHAUFFEUR & HEAD OF SECURITY MINERVA 'MIMI' DAVENPORT Mimi, as Emma and the others call her and she prefers to be called, is Emma's aide de camp, her most important aide, confidant and friend. She started at Frost International as an intern and caught the attention of Emma almost from the get go. Extremely efficient, unflappable and quite professional, Mimi runs everything from Emma's homes, to her appointments, etc. In a way, she maintains Emma's methodical life running like clockwork. Mimi is also extremely smart, witty and completely unafraid of the superhuman powers the members of the Inner Circle demonstrate. She has developed a funny rapport with Loki of Asgard, ever since the Asgardian became Emma's lover. She is respectful in the way she speaks, but it is one of those people that could insult you with her words and you would not even notice that she is doing so. She is totally loyal to Emma and now by default, to the Inner Circle. She is a normal member of the Hellfire Club and serves as aide to the Inner Circle members... but always Emma first. RACHELLE LEFEVRE ♟ 30+ ♟ PERSONAL ASSISTANT FRIGGAA Notice the extra 'a' on her name. That is so because this is not the actual Frigga, wife of Odin, but rather a holographic creation by Emma Frost using her prototype new computer system the 'FrostBite'. It has been a recurrent plot for Emma her interest in researching the application of Psionic Energy as a power source for machines – hence her interest of learning more about the X-men's Cerebro – and to create said machines to amplify psionic abilities in return. So working with Frost International Research and Development Department -- and now procuring Dr. Otto Octavius as a retainer -- in an ultra secret project, she has been lending her immense reservoir of psychic and psionic energy in the construction of the 'FrostBite', powered by psionic energy. Although it has not been written yet In Character, Emma is going to offer FRIGGAA as a gift to Loki... a fully operational hologram system with all of the real Frigga's personality and characteristics, as she knows how much his mother meant to him. Taking every single memory he had of Frigga, Emma – using the 'FrostBite' – would recreate her permanently so Loki can visit and spend time with her. Not the real thing, but as close to the real thing as Emma can make her for him. NOTE: This is the only NPC that would not be allowed to be adoptable, as we want to keep it in control of the Staff. [/i] and cold she served it, indeed. She ruined Winston Frost. She bought his company, his assets and all but his underwear at ridiculous low prices, basically sending him to the cleaners. Now Frost Manor belonged to her... her father's company... everything. Smitley was glad Winston Frost got what he deserved, but at the same time... he was out of a job! Not at all. Emma never forgot the kindness and respect Smitley showed to her and Christian and she hired him to work for her.

Smitley witnessed Emma's lowest moments, when she had to kill her sister Adrianne, the lost of so many of her students at the Massachusetts Academy, the last vestige of emotion and feelings ripped out of her. She became even colder... even more emotionless. He was there to always comfort her and was shocked to learn from her that she was a mutant... a telepath. He had no idea what those were, so she showed him. She created a mind link with him and at first it was weird. But he has grown used to it.

His daughter then hit him with a hammer... she was marrying some tosser from East End. He met the guy and ugh! It was like seeing his brother Oliver again! Another low life. Of course, he tried to be supportive of his daughter's decision, but really... she could not marry someone less... rubbish? Emma also set up an account for him and his mind was blown when he saw that he was now a rich man. He could not believe it. Renault and then Mimi also came to the service of Emma later on and the three of them became what Emma called tenderly as 'her Triumvirate'. Smitley got along very well with the other, younger than him, members of their little family.

After the take over of the Hellfire Club, Smitley came into contact with Loki of Asgard – an alien! – and Ophelia Sarkissian - a goddess! He liked Loki. The boy – he could not fathom that the man was over one thousand years old – was interesting. But Smitley became enamored with Ophelia. To him she was a goddess from Greek Mythology. She scared him, though. She was a scary woman... but he seemed to liked those a lot! Now, as member of the Hellfire Club, Smitley serve Emma with the same seal as always and find himself also the servant of Black King and Queen of the Hellfire Club... wonders never ceased. [/ul]
